I am a freelance illustrator guided by a fascination with historical illustration, visual explorations of the passage of time, and depictions of the human experience, especially women’s history. When it comes to storytelling, comics are my weapon of choice.
With a background in Architecture and Graphic Design, I have a deep interest in the visual languages of bygone eras, which influence the way I bring history to life on the page.
I have work experience in live recording, book illustration, photography and graphic design. I usually work in a mix of traditional techniques such as watercolour, ink and coloured pencils as well as digital.
